You know that feeling when you pick the perfect baby name — the one that just fits? Well, picking a business name was not like that! It was harder!
After a lot of late-night brainstorming, trademark searches (ugh), and going back to the drawing board, I’m thrilled to share that Find Mama Care is officially becoming Cradley — now at searchcradley.com.
Why the change?
While “Find Mama Care” described what we do, it didn’t feel like the brand we’re building. We’re creating something modern, trusted, and a little techy — a platform moms can actually get excited about using.
Cradley is a blend of “cradle” and “tech startup” - because that's what we are! However, instead of cradling a baby, we cradle the mom.
In Ancient Greece, “the cradle of democracy” meant the birthplace of big, world-changing ideas. That’s the energy we’re channeling — the birthplace of a movement, where moms are empowered to build the support systems they deserve.
The end game is to hear a mom say:
“I found my night nurse on cradley!” ...or location consultant, sleep coach, and so on.
That’s the goal. Easy to say, easy to love, easy to search.
What Cradley actually is
Cradley is the Yelp for pregnancy and postpartum, connecting new and expecting parents with review-backed providers: doulas, lactation consultants, pelvic floor specialists, night nurses, newborn care specialists, and more.
Because the people who hold everything together deserve to feel held too. 💛 #CradleTheCradler
What’s next
The beta launch will start right here in the DMV area (Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland) — because this is home.
